DirectoryOrder & Pricing Information
If you look to the right, you will see a piece I executed for the 13th & Broadway Building in Downtown Oakland, California.

It is the " Directory" in the lobby and has the corporate logo of the company that owns the building and which is also found on everything related to the corporate identity; from their stationary, to business cards, etc.

This piece, which measures approximately 18" high by 4' wide would price out (today) in the neighborhood of $1,400.00; or at $233.00 per square foot (installed)

You should know that in addition to the actual design & construction of this piece, I also assisted in creating the logo itself, with the persons in the company who were charged with coming up with the "Corporate Identity."

Just by calling around to my competitors in your area of the country, you will find out that the normal going rate for simple design and colour execution for a piece this size (6 sq. st.) will run you anywhere from $125.00-$500.00 per sq. ft.

But, while I am always better than competitive in my pricing, it is my willingness, no insistance, in always utilizing not only the best quality of glass, but also as wide an array of colours as is possible; without making something so busy as to be unattractive.

You will find that most or many of my competitors will always try to cut corners in an attempt to increase the profit margin.

Field with butterfliesThat is not my MO.

To me, it is always the primary importance that the piece I design, create, construct, sign and deliver to you is first the finest work possible, but also provided at a cost that makes you respect the work while not wincing due to it.

But forget the sq. ft. pricing and understand that I usually price out each piece on its own merits and always try to work with you to first find the range of your budget so you can get what you need for what you can spend.

Just bear in mind that as a rule, windows and lamps with a moderately intricate design and proper use of a wide range of colours of glass will ususally start in pricing from $1,600.00 and up for windows of 4 sq. ft. and $1,500.00 and up for lamps starting at 16" in diameter.

Lamps can be as small as 12" in diam. and as large as 24" and can be equipped on chain for hanging or on floor or table bases (bases can be purchased extra by me or selected by you).

Windows can include logo design, personal delivery and installation, although special frames for free-standing pieces, or just required for the area can be an extra cost.

Regardless, feel free to e-mail me with a drawing of something you feel you would like and the range of your budget and I can guarantee that you will most certainly be able to get the piece of art glass that you need from me.

Lastly, also know that anything you can imagine (within reason) can be made in glass.

Just recently I met a beautiful lady who returned from Seattle with some blown glass fishes. I suggested to her a 3-Dimensional Stained Glass Fish Tank, with four sides depicting different, life-like and colourful fish in water; that could also actually hold water within.

This is just an example to let you know that I'm just dying to have you surprise me with anything "Out There" or just unique & original.

I also do repairs, which has included structurally repairing ten 12th & 13th Century Windows which were bowing from age in Milan, Italy (for La Contessa di Casatiglione, a member of Milan's oldest family).
