Welcome To SPKGlass, Let me intoduce myself. My name is Stuart Phillip Kaufman and I have been an artist specializing in the medium of Stained Glass for over 20 years. I make lamps, windows and that occasional rare or strange piece (I once converted an elevator in an SF Lawyer's office into a 5' by 7' enclosed mountain scene with the tops of mountains, clouds and sky as the ceiling in stained glass & all three sides of the elevator in inlaid wood of the sun rising out of the mountains). I also perform Logo design and execution in Stained Glass for small, medium and large businesses and Corporations, and will take you from start to finish by doing the "Concept through Completion." |

Commissioned in the mid 70's, this logo is for a non-profit organization which purchases open space in California and then sells it back to local, state or federal government agencies for conversion into parks or protected open space. Aside from the construction of this piece, I assisted the organization in coming up with the design for this piece; at a nominal, extra design fee
